Why I Bought It: Because you could score points with middle-school girls by knowing his catalogue.
Why You Should: Tevin came correct on this album, showing a lot of versatility — even getting political on "Uncle Sam" — but still knocking his ballads (and girls' panties) out of the park.
Only Get One Shot: "Can We Talk "

WIB: The cat was dope in "Baby Boy." Plus, "Sweet Lady" is good stuff. Also, I basically got this for free from the CH hole-in-the-wall.
WYS: If you really, really like "Sweet Lady" … otherwise, steer clear.
OGOS: "Sweet Lady "

WIB: I respect a cat who can dance better than his backup dancers, and sing real well, too. (see Timberlake, Justin v. 'N Sync)
WYS: "You Make Me Wanna …" became approximately four times as awesome once Confessions was released.
OGOS: "My Way "

WIB: "Yeah! (feat. Lil' Jon & Ludacris)" pretty much made this a necessity.
WYS: The rest of the album is dope. This was a monster record all-around.
OGOS: "Burn" … Ah, who am I kidding? Go with "Yeah."
