Must-See TV — 2/08/05
Radio Free Roscoe — Candian high school melodrama revolving around four best friends and their underground radio station. Laugh. I swear by this show as having the best subtext-filled dialogue on TV. Most of Season Three has earned coveted "Save Until I Delete" status. And Season Four is just around the corner! Feb. 25, I cannot wait for thee...
Degrassi: The Next Generation — Canadian high school ensemble melodrama. This one's a bit intense. The original series got a shoutout from Banky in Chasing Amy.
The O.C. — Sure, it's trash. But it's good trash. I stand by this. And I'm adamant that this is faaaaan-tastic! I'm all about some O.C. California, here we come, right back where we started from. Caaaalifooornia! Heeeere we cooo-oo-ome!
House — This show is ggggreat. And it has Omar Epps in his first non-sports role in years. Years!
NUMB3RS — It's a cop show that prominently features a Jewish mathematician — If I didn't like this, wouldn't I get fired from the tribe?
American Idol — I saw a girl I knew two years ago. My first crush, actually. If that wouldn't keep you coming back, what would?
Point Pleasant — I'll be honest. I got caught up and I'm hooked. What're you gonna do? Huh? Riddle me that!
My So-Called Life — A quality show. Terribly underappreciated.
Scrubs — I've only seen three episodes but none have been bad.
Arrested Development — Only saw one, but it kept me entertained.
Family Guy — I think it was because I can say the names of all 50 states in less than a quarter of a second. *Pause* SQUAWK!
Futurama — They had me at the Slurm factory episode.
The Simpsons — A superstar on the decline. Not quite yet in its twlight years.
Desperate Housewives — I haven't watched this since I've started TiVoing it. Does that say enough?
